OUR BEGINNING... Regal 360 was launched in 2008 with a mission to bring a new standard to immersive imaging and virtual tours. With specialized photographic processes and production techniques, Regal 360 delivers an experience that is unprecedented in the virtual tour industry. This innovative media form is an extremely effective decision making tool because it utilizes both visual and auditory elements while operating within the virtual space of a user controlled interactive environment. Regal 360’s new brand of interactive virtual tours transforms a location into a completely immersive online destination.
OUR BACKGROUND... With creative backgrounds in design and filmmaking, Terry Montague and Brandon L. Hull set out to create a company that would challenge the perception of what many understand to be a virtual tour. Employing custom combinations of the latest developments in photography, cinematic visual effects, flash programming, HTML5, and design, Regal 360 has built a new brand of virtual tours that is unlike anything currently available today. By fusing art with technology, Regal 360 is changing the way people make decisions.
OUR SUCCESS... Since its inception, Regal 360 has taken on some of the largest and most comprehensive virtual tour projects ever completed. From the beginning with the extensive tour of “Hearst Castle”, exhaustively covering the 127 acre estate perched above the Pacific Ocean in California, Regal 360 has continuously pushed the boundaries of virtual tour production. Regal 360 created the virtual tour of Holland’s “Ten Boom Museum” in 20 unique languages, giving access to visitors around the world. Some may remember the story of the Ten Boom family from the movie “The Hiding Place.”
SOME OF OUR NOTABLE PROJECTS... We have created virtual tours for a broad range of industries and organizations, including tourism bureau’s and CVB’s, resorts and hotels, gaming industries, museums, parks and historic sites, wineries and vineyards, ski resorts, golf courses, geologic sites, live festivals, sporting events, and many others. Some of the people who we are proud to call clients include the Fontainebleau- Miami Beach; the Phoenician- Scottsdale; the Margaritaville Casino- Las Vegas; Devil’s Thumb Ranch- Colorado; the Dolphin Bay Resort & Spa- Pismo Beach; California State Parks at Hearst Castle and Oceano Dunes, and several central coast Wineries and Vineyards including the four season tour of Jada Vineyards, as well as Justin, Talley, Salisbury, Calcareous, and Rotta. In addition to Hearst Castle and the Ten Boom Museum, we have created interactive virtual tours of places such as the Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City, the Warhawk Air Museum in Idaho, and the Basque Museum in the historic Boise Basque Block. We are committed to strengthening our geographic virtual tour compilations, by featuring virtual tour collections made up of several independent virtual tours compiled together on a single map, and hosted by a primary tourism entity in the area. We are currently working with several communities and regional organizations developing the plans for implementing a RegalEarth Mapping system there. Regal 360’s RegalEarth Mapping systems are in use with the Idaho Department of Commerce and Tourism with the “Visit Idaho Virtual Mapping Project”, the Boise Convention & Visitors Bureau, Mammoth Lakes Tourism California, Ketchum/Sun Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Bear Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau, NCITA, the Yellowstone Grand Teton Loop Association, and the San Luis Obispo County BID.
ABOUT ALL THE NEW FORMATS... We are committed to providing the ability to update each virtual tour to ensure compatibility with new computers and mobile and tablet devices. We are currently building tours using both Flash programming, and creating HTML5 versions for iOS devices. That means going forward iOS versions of our tours will work on iPads and iPhones! We will constantly strive to make sure our powerful tool works on as many platforms as possible. Our newest tours feature a live Twitter feed within the interface, and we are ‘in-progress’ on some powerful new concepts for augmenting the virtual space of each tour with interactive elements such as still photographs, text descriptions, video, 2D and 3D animated clips, special effects, and our tour interfaces continue to evolve and function as an intuitive means to explore the space and access available content within the tour. We welcome you to experience the virtual tours we’ve already created, follow us as we bring you new tours, and watch as we continue to change the industry with each new ground-breaking tour. Your comments are important to us, and if you have any questions about how our product can serve your business or industry, please do not hesitate to contact us for a free consultation and evaluation. |
