OUR BEGINNING... Regal 360 was launched in October 2008, with a mission to revolutionize virtual tour technology. With specialized photographic processes and production techniques, Regal 360 delivers an experience that is unprecedented in the virtual tour industry. This innovative media form is an extremely effective decision making tool because it utilizes both visual and auditory elements while operating in a user controlled interactive environment. After a careful analysis of the standards in virtual tour technology, Regal 360 recognized an enormous gap between what was being achieved and what was possible. Regal 360's new brand of interactive virtual tours transforms a location into a completely immersive online destination.
OUR BACKGROUND... With creative backgrounds in design and filmmaking, Terry Montague and Brandon L. Hull set out to create a company that would challenge the perception of what many understand to be a virtual tour. Employing the latest developments in photography, cinematic visual effects, flash programming, and design, Regal 360 has built a new brand of virtual tours that is unlike anything currently available today. By fusing art with technology, Regal 360 is changing the way people make decisions.
OUR SUCCESS... Since its inception, Regal 360 has undertaken some of the largest and most comprehensive virtual tour projects ever conceived. Regal 360 has produced an extensive virtual tour of Hearst Castle, covering Hearst's 56 Bedrooms, 61 Bathrooms, 19 Sitting Rooms, Indoor and Outdoor Swimming Pools, Tennis Courts, and 127 acres of Gardens perched above the Pacific Ocean in San Simeon, California. Other projects include a virtual tour in the heart of California's Central Coast wine country covering several Vineyards and Wineries including Justin, Jada, Talley, Calcareous, and Salisbury Vineyards.
Regal 360 has been commissioned through the Idaho Tourism Commission and Drake Cooper Agency to create an unprecedented virtual tour of the state of Idaho. This extensive virtual tour will showcase the majestic state and features vantage points from some of the most spectacular sites and locations as only Regal 360 can show them. Regal 360 is currently working on a virtual tour project outside of the country with the ten Boom Museum in Haarlem, Holland. Some of you may remember this historic house from the book "The Hiding Place", and the story of the ten Boom family's personal sacrifice of their own lives to hide members of the Jewish Community and Dutch Underground from the Nazi's during the second World War. This site is historically rich and a symbol of human strength and compassion, and features a scripted Narrative available in 8 different languages. With the company's reach expanding across the globe Regal 360 will continue to take you places like no other virtual tour company can.
OUR PROJECTS... Beginning with Hearst Castle's 4 Disc CD-ROM series, Regal 360 now offers its clients the chance to make their virtual tour a part of their media offering to guests and visitors beyond the web. Thousands of these CD-ROM'S from Hearst Castle have been sold over the past year through the Aramark Gift Shop, giving their visitors an opportunity to take something home from their visit that allows them to re-live and share their experience in a way never possible before. Many of our new projects in development include a CD-ROM component, and in addition to providing a new way to market a location, as we've discovered they also provide our clients a way to make a return on their investment, and even a profit... covering the cost of the virtual tour itself through sales.
As many of our regular visitors have noticed over the past year, Regal 360 is committed to strengthening our geographical virtual tour compilations, by featuring virtual tour collections made up of several independent virtual tours compiled together on a single map. We are currently working with several communities and regional organizations to create these virtual tour maps capable of including a spectrum of industries united together in a single map interface. Geographic compilations are currently in the works with Tourism and Visitors Bureau's, Historical Societies, State and National Park and Recreation Area's, Arts Commissions, Sports Organizations, Viticulture Regions, Business Enterprises, and Cultural Site Affiliations in States, Territories, and Country's spanning the globe.
Creating and hosting the map interface gives each umbrella organization an opportunity to build partnerships with independent members within the geographic zone, and offer those members the capability of not only having their individual location captured by Regal 360 for use on their own website, but of having their virtual tour included in the conglomerated geographic compilation along with other independent members, to merge their individual investment into a new form of collective marketing tool never available before.
This will allow Regal 360 to create virtual tours of an entire city, for example, with individual Hotels, Restaurants, Museums, Historic Sites, Cultural Entities, Sports Venues, Recreation Area's, and other attractions featured together as one geographic compilation, giving a visitor to that area an opportunity to have a preview of the experience that will await them upon their arrival and assist them in making decisions about their visit.
We welcome you to experience the virtual tours we've already created, follow us as we bring you new tours, and watch as we continue to change the industry with each tour.
